Jessica and Matteo are so much fun! Super easy going and definitely in love. We had a blast hanging out at the Hotel Monaco where they both got ready for their big day. We traveled around center city Philadelphia with our own personal best man Uber driver, dropping us off at some of the most pin worthly locations in the city. The dinner and dancing at the Chescaphe Ballroom was top notch as expected, perfect in every way. Congrats to Jessica and Matteo. I can’t wait to see what the future hold for these two. Enjoy a look into their action-packed wedding day!
What a great day up in North Jersey. Beautiful weather and great company. And those views from The Liberty House in Jersey City! Enjoy a look into the love of Tannia and Paul and their two beautiful children.
Arianna picked a fall wedding date because she didn’t want the weather to be too hot or too cold. Of course, Mother Nature had a different idea. It was an unseasonably warm day for the beginning of October, but the weather didn’t seem to bother the newlyweds. We started the day at a local hotel where the ladies were getting ready. Arrianna and Zach have an absolutely adorable little spunky girl. She loved to jump on the bed but hated her tiara.

The Knowlton Mansion
The Knowlton Mansion is a hidden gem in Philadelphia. It has a great vibe, with indoor-outdoor space and a very unique ballroom. The ladies finished getting dressed upstairs in the bedrooms, while the guys joked around and prepared for the ceremony in the grand foyer.
I hope to see these two again real soon! Thank you to Mike from Michael Glenn Photography for helping me out with this wedding. As always, you ROCK!
I have been photographing weddings for over ten years. (Wow! I can’t believe I just typed that.) And like any girl, I love a good pair of shoes. Wedding shoes can come in many shapes and designs. Some brides look for something simple and practical, others like them covered in sparkle and with three-inch heels. But, never once have a photographed a wedding where the bride wasn’t 100% in love with her shoes! She is always super excited to get them out of the box and ready for their close up. Brides (and sometimes grooms) spend many hours, sometimes days, looking for the picture-perfect pair. They pin away on Pinterest finding the latest trend, or browse local stores and wedding boutiques for that flawless pair.
Today, I went back into the archives at Shilliday Photography and found some of my favorites shoe photographs. Enjoy, and don’t have to much shoe envy over those Badgley Mischka’s.
This metallic silver pair with a kitten heel is perfect for a bride that wants something closed toed in those cooler months.
If you can’t find anything you like, don’t forget to check Etsy. This bride had her wedding day shoes custom made by an artist selling on the internet crafter site. She definitely got her Happily Ever After.
The same bride wore both these blue wedges and lace flats to her beach wedding. Why choose one pair, when you can have two!
Your wedding shoes are a great way to show off your “something blue”.
This bride and groom love ice hockey. I grabbed a few photos of them lacing up their practice skates during their hockey themed engagement session.
Every barn wedding needs a good pair of cowboy boots!
In my mind, converse will never go out of style. Especially for those littlest members of the bridal party.
Unique or traditional, you will most likely keep your wedding shoes for some time. Display them in your closet, and break them out for a fun dinner with your spouse. Remember, they are the perfect pair, just like you and your partner.
Is there a story behind your wedding shoes? I would love to hear it!
It is always a treat for me to photograph a wedding at the Riverton Country Club. My husband and I were married there over 10 years ago, so the location will always have special memories attached. Kelly and Ben had a wet wedding day, but we made the best of the location and we captured some truly spectacular memories. Enjoy a look into Kelly and Ben’s country club wedding.
Sam and Andrew are a lovely couple and I was honored to spend the day with them documenting their wedding. Traditional at its finest, with personal touches added in throughout the night, they danced the night away at The Collingswood Grand Ballroom. Thank you for having me and I wish you the best of luck in the future.
I am very excited to share the wedding of Bonnie and Abie. Right now, as I look out my office window, there is not one leaf left on a tree. It feels cold and damp, and I am not even outside. These images capture the beauty and warmth that was fall in Philadelphia, 2015. Fall is such a wonderful time of year to get married and Bonnie and Abie were surely blessed with a beautiful day. Congrats to the happy couple. I wish them both the best and hope to run into them at the Cherry Hill Wegmans soon.
I met the Blythe family about a year and half ago when they invited me into their home to take newborn photos of their newest daughter Cara. I remember Nora being so proud of her little sister, always wanting to kiss and hug her. The girls might have grown, but they still have such love for each other! I can’t wait till my boys can interact they way they do. They make my job easy.
Enjoy a look into the world of Nora, Cara and of course Mom and Dad.
