At almost 6 months old, Henry is an adorable handsome little fella.  He was all smiles and was very interested with the clicking of the camera shutter. His puppy tried to take all my attention, but I think Henry came out on top!

Most people probably think that because I am a photographer I take a lot of photos of my own children…not necessarily the case.  iPhone pics, yes, hundreds even thousands, professional ones not so much.  I tend to break out the big camera for birthdays and holidays and maybe a few family functions in between. My children are just as impossible to take photos of and yes, I do have to bribe them with a Popsicle and candy to get them to smile. So, Liam and I had about an hour while my other boy was sleeping to snap a few shots outside our home. He picked the skateboard as his prop and we “rolled” with it!  I even gave him two pops at the end.

I started last year asking Liam the following questions.  A conversation with Liam age 4:

2011- Age 3…yes he still is a GaGa fan.

Sister Cities park is described as an Oasis on Logan Square.  There is a fantastic wading pool for the littlest guests, green grass to picnic on, a rock river to hike up and down and a fountain to splash in.  Even a cafe to grab a bite to eat or in Haley’s case a cookie from Grandmom.  Now that I am back in Jersey, I finally had the opportunity to spend a few hours with Haley, my niece, without my kids in tow.  Actually, this was the first time since the day she was born that I had one on one time with the little princess.   Enjoy a look into the life of Haley.  Caution, lots of smiles, laughing, and cuteness below.

A little over 2 years ago my best friend texted me a picture of positive pregnancy test, then I did the same a few weeks later.  Rylee was born two weeks before my second son Keen.  She is a very smart young lady, basically talking your ear off the entire time you are with her.  I have loved watching her grow over the past 18 months, but now that I am back in NJ, I get to spend more time with her and help document her life in photographs.  (She is actually upstairs sleeping in my house night now.)

We ended the morning with a breakfast run at The Pop Shop in Collingswood!  Yummm. Rylee was teaching me how to lick the syrup off her pancakes.  She also insisted that we both had to wear our sunglasses.  Love her!

Emily is such a sweetheart and cute as a button.  She was a little shy in the beginning, but we were BFFs by the end of the shoot!  I hope you had a wonderful 2nd Birthday girlfriend!

My little guy turned one the other day, so a cake smash was in order!  I asked my sister in law to make a delicious extra icing cake for the occasion.  Check out her site at The Three Cat Kitchen, she does some great work.

I met up with the Tucholski family the other day at the Warrenton Train Depot hear in VA. It was a stunning drive down Rt. 29, as most of the trees have changed for season.  I drank my pumpkin spice chai latte and listened to non-kid music on the radio.   I have never been to Warrenton before and was pleasantly surprised by the town.  It had an up and coming sort of feel; old with a little bit of new sprinkled in.

Susan had the great idea of meeting at the old train depot in downtown.  The kids enjoyed running around the train and exploring the bridge that connected the tracks to a walking path.  It was chilly, and it took little John some time to warm up to me and to the weather.  Gracie had no problem smiling and showing off for the camera!

I can’t even describe how much I love this family…maybe it is because they are super cute…super nice…or that I am already friends with them.
