Loving it!! Another set of high school sweetheart! Sam and Kenny have been dating for years, survived college and already own a house together.  They first met at Cinnaminson High School, where Kenny asked Sam to the prom on April Fools Day many years ago.  She of course said yes, but then a few moments later he said “April Fools”.  After a scolding from his mother, he called Sam and said that he did actually want to take her to the prom and that it was a very mean joke.  It was only fitting that Kenny asked Sam to marry him on April Fools day of last year.  She of course said YES!

CINNAMINSON, NJ

The girls started the day getting their hair and makeup done at Sam’s parent’s house in New Jersey.  Sam is the first of her friends to get married.  I joked with them saying, do that funny laugh photographers always make you do, forgetting none of them have ever been in a wedding before.  They caught on quick!  Kenny and the guys met up in Philly at The Franklin Hotel.  My second photography, Cary, was there to capture all the jokes and suspender adjusting.  The happy couple has a great support system of friends.  They were all very easy to work with and kept me laughing all day.

I met back up with Sam and the girls at the Down Town Club, where the ceremony and reception would be taking place.  Before the ceremony Sam practiced her vowels, while the girls sipped on champagne.

After the ceremony, we explored the area around The Down Town Club for some formal photos of the bridal party and the new Mr. and Mrs.

The Down Town Club does not disappoint when it comes to food, service, and atmosphere.  The tall ceilings and bridge views also set the scene.  Sam and Kenny were dancing machines and had ear to ear smiles the whole night.  Their entrance says it all…
