Kaitlyn and Michael are a joy! Cary, my second photography, and I had a blast hanging out with the two of them and their super fun bridal party. It was a windy day for a cathedral length veil, but Kaitlyn looked like a true princess! Enjoy a look into the wedding of Kaitlyn and Michael. Keep in touch lovebirds.
Loving it!! Another set of high school sweetheart! Sam and Kenny have been dating for years, survived college and already own a house together. They first met at Cinnaminson High School, where Kenny asked Sam to the prom on April Fools Day many years ago. She of course said yes, but then a few moments later he said “April Fools”. After a scolding from his mother, he called Sam and said that he did actually want to take her to the prom and that it was a very mean joke. It was only fitting that Kenny asked Sam to marry him on April Fools day of last year. She of course said YES!
The girls started the day getting their hair and makeup done at Sam’s parent’s house in New Jersey. Sam is the first of her friends to get married. I joked with them saying, do that funny laugh photographers always make you do, forgetting none of them have ever been in a wedding before. They caught on quick! Kenny and the guys met up in Philly at The Franklin Hotel. My second photography, Cary, was there to capture all the jokes and suspender adjusting. The happy couple has a great support system of friends. They were all very easy to work with and kept me laughing all day.

THE DOWN TOWN CLUB, PHILADELPHIA, PA
I met back up with Sam and the girls at the Down Town Club, where the ceremony and reception would be taking place. Before the ceremony Sam practiced her vowels, while the girls sipped on champagne.
WASHINGTON SQUARE PARK, PHILADELPHIA, PA
After the ceremony, we explored the area around The Down Town Club for some formal photos of the bridal party and the new Mr. and Mrs.
THE DOWN TOWN CLUB, PHILADELPHIA, PA
The Down Town Club does not disappoint when it comes to food, service, and atmosphere. The tall ceilings and bridge views also set the scene. Sam and Kenny were dancing machines and had ear to ear smiles the whole night. Their entrance says it all…
Thank you again, Cary, for helping me with this wedding. His work is sprinkled in among the post above.
Even though I take photos year round, nothing compares to that first planned spring shoot of the year. The trees are green, the sun is shining and my couples don’t have to shiver between frames. Allie and Connor had the perfect day for their engagement shoot. The weekend before it rained both days, and the days after it was a sweltering 90 degrees. The bright skies matched their bright smiles.
Isn’t that ring stunning! It totally matches Allie’s personality. I am not sure if Connor picked it out himself, but he definitely should take the credit.
A few weeks before our planned photo shoot, we talked about what they wanted to capture that evening. We mixed in some traditional portraits along with some detail shots at Washington Square Park. Washington Square is one of my favorite places to photograph in Philadelphia. It is less crowded than Rittenhouse Square and has these great brick walls around the edges. The backgrounds are great for any kind of shoot, from weddings, to engagement sessions, and even headshots.
After walking/dancing around the square, we headed down towards the river, finding some interesting streets and architecture along the way.
After a quick change of wardrobe at the Hilton, we finished off the evening at the Spruce Street Harbor Park where we had a bit more fun swinging in the hammocks and walking the river.
(when the last photo of the evening is your absolute favorite!!)
Allie and Connor will be getting married at the Hilton at Penn’s Landing next spring. The ballroom looks over the very park where we finished photographing that evening. We plan on doing some awesome nights shots since the park is lit at night. Follow my facebook page for more sneak peeks and to help stay connected.
Kristen and Tyler were married on a warm fall day in Valley Forge, PA. The Philander Chase Knox Estate was a stunning backdrop for the celebration. The whimsical fields and the charming reception tent made for a fantastic photographable event. Enjoy a look into the wedding of Kristen and Tyler. I wish them both the best of luck and I hope we can see eachother again soon.
It has been a wet fall season in the area, but that hasn’t stopped my couples from having a blast on their wedding days. Tori and Chris were married at the Rose Bank Winery in Newtown, PA. We were able to sneak outside between the raindrops and capture some amazing memories. I wish them both the best. Congrats to Tori, Chris, and their adorable son Grayson!
Nicole and Nick wed at the beautiful Knowlton Mansion in Philadelphia on a lovely Friday evening in September. It was a joyful night filled with love and laughter. Thank you to my second shooter Jill for her help. Her work is sprinkled in among the photos below. Enjoy.
Thank you, Emily and Micah, for having us document your wedding day. We had a blast hanging out in Philly and even more fun at the Please Touch Museum. What a wonderful place to have a wedding. It is always a good idea to feel like a kid again, especially on your wedding day. Best of luck in the future. Thank you to my second shooter Mike! His work is sprinkled in among the photos below.
