Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Alicia and David wanted a barn wedding and fell in love with the Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm<\/a> location last year when it first became available for weddings.\u00a0 I visited there with them last July for their engagement session<\/a>.\u00a0 I learned that they have know eachother for a long time, and rekindled their relationship a few years ago.<\/p>\n

Their wedding took place on a beautiful Saturday in late July.\u00a0\u00a0 The ladies got ready upstairs and the gentleman downstairs in the farm house.\u00a0 Alicia was cool and calm, while David showed just a little bit of wedding day jitters.\u00a0 I was joined by Greg of Greg Hoffman Films<\/a>.\u00a0 He was there to captures the day on video, while I was taking the still photos of the happy couple.<\/p>\n

First Look<\/h1>\n

Alicia suggested that we capture the first look under the big oak tree at the back corner of the farm.\u00a0 The area overlooked the rolling hills of Jobstown and served as the perfect location for their formal photos before the ceremony.\u00a0 Davids jitters were put at ease as soon as he turned and saw his stunning bride.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Ceremony<\/h1>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Reception<\/h1>\n

The rustic reception room was located in the old stables on the farm.\u00a0 The large sliding doors on either side brought in the natural light throughout the night.\u00a0 Guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner by Due Amici <\/a>Italian Grill and Catering and danced to the music of Art of Kool DJ Events<\/a>.\u00a0 Alicia’s Maid of Honor made a memorial speech, where she read from her middle school diary about how she had a crush on the groom many many years ago.<\/p>\n

The Sunset<\/h1>\n

We couldn’t pass up the beautiful sunset happening outside.\u00a0 Alicia and David were more than happy to take another stroll to the big oak tree where we started our day.\u00a0 I can honestly say that I haven’t photographed a couple on their wedding day with that kind of light in years.\u00a0 It was well worth the 5-minute break from dancing; golden hour at its finest!<\/p>\n
